Need to get from Expo to Bedok or the city during the EWL closure from November 29 to December 8, 2025?
⚠️ No Trains from Expo to Tanah Merah
Train services between Expo and Tanah Merah are suspended. Use Shuttle Bus 8.
To Bedok: Shuttle Bus 8
- From Expo (CG1), board Shuttle 8
- Shuttle stops at Tanah Merah, then Bedok
Frequency: Every 10 minutes
Journey time: ~15-20 minutes
To City: Two Options
Option A: Shuttle 8 + EWL (Recommended for City Hall/Raffles Place)
- Take Shuttle 8 to Bedok
- At Bedok, take EWL train to City Hall/Raffles Place
Option B: Downtown Line (For Marina Bay/Chinatown)
- From Expo (DT35), take DTL
- Alight at Downtown (DT17) for Marina Bay
- Or Chinatown (DT19) for Chinatown area

If you attended an event at Singapore Expo:
- Expect queues for Shuttle 8 after major events
- Consider using DTL if heading towards Tampines/Bugis direction
- Allow extra time for shuttle bus boarding
