Getting there: which station to use

• Stadium MRT (CC6) - Circle Line, right at the stadium. Closest, but the most crowded by far after major events
• Kallang MRT (EW10) - East-West Line, a 10-12 minute walk via the Kallang Wave Mall underpass and stadium promenade. Usually faster to board after the show

Arrive early: crowds typically build at Stadium MRT from about 5:30pm for a 8pm show, as fans come early for merchandise and entry. Twenty-three gates serve the venue, so check your gate number on your ticket before walking to the stadium.

After the show: the exit strategy

When 55,000 people leave at once, the post-concert walk to Stadium MRT is a managed flow - staff funnel fans in an orderly queue that typically clears within about an hour of the final song. Recent stadium concerts have even featured dancers and DJ sets to keep the queue entertained.

• Patience at Stadium CC6: the queue moves constantly but is long. Circle Line trains run at higher frequency after major events
• Kallang EW10 alternative: the 10-minute walk sheds the queue entirely, and East-West Line trains toward the city and Paya Lebar run every few minutes
• Nicoll Highway CC5 is a third option, about 15 minutes on foot via the stadium loop

Last train timings to know

Friday night last trains from Stadium area (approximate - always check the full first/last train timetable):

• Circle Line (Stadium CC6): last train toward Dhoby Ghaut around 11:35pm; toward HarbourFront around 11:50pm
• East-West Line (Kallang EW10): last westbound train toward Jurong East around 11:45pm; last eastbound train toward Pasir Ris around 12:15am

A stadium-scale show normally ends between 10:45pm and 11:15pm, which leaves comfortable margin for the last trains, but do not linger at the venue. If you are heading to the far ends of the network (Jurong East, Tuas Link), transfer at Dhoby Ghaut or Paya Lebar rather than waiting at the interchange.
