How to Get to Changi Airport MRT Station During EWL Closure (Nov 29 - Dec 8, 2025)
Flying out of Changi Airport during the EWL closure from November 29 to December 8, 2025? Here is how to get there by public transport.

From West/City: Shuttle Bus 8 Route
- Take EWL to Bedok (EW5)
- Board Shuttle 8 to Expo
- At Expo, take train to Changi Airport (CG2)
Shuttle 8 Frequency: Every 10 minutes
Expo to Changi Airport train: Every 5 mins (peak) / 17 mins (off-peak)
From East (Pasir Ris/Tampines): Two Options
Option A: Via Shuttle Bus
- From Tampines/Pasir Ris, take Shuttle 7 to Bedok
- Transfer to Shuttle 8 to Expo
- Take train from Expo to Changi Airport
Option B: Via Downtown Line (Recommended)
- From Tampines (DT32), take DTL to Expo (DT35)
- At Expo, take train to Changi Airport (CG2)
