Need to get to Expo MRT (CG1/DT35) during the EWL closure from November 29 to December 8, 2025? Here are your options.
⚠️ No Direct Trains from Tanah Merah to Expo
Train services between Tanah Merah and Expo are suspended. Use Shuttle Bus 8 or approach from Changi Airport.
Option 1: Shuttle Bus 8 (From West/City)
- Take EWL to Bedok (EW5)
- Board Shuttle 8 (Bedok → Tanah Merah → Expo)
- Alight at Expo
Frequency: Every 10 minutes
Journey time: ~20-25 minutes by bus
Option 2: Via Changi Airport
If coming from Downtown Line (DTL):
- Take DTL to Expo (DT35) directly
If coming from Changi Airport:
- Train from Changi Airport to Expo runs every 5 mins (peak)
Option 3: Downtown Line Direct
Expo (DT35) is on the Downtown Line. You can reach it directly via DTL from:
- Tampines (DT32)
- Bedok North, Bedok Reservoir, MacPherson
- Bugis, Promenade, Chinatown
✅ No shuttle bus needed if using DTL

If attending an event at Singapore Expo during this period:
